What happens on the day
Twenty minutes early, ID, scales, briefing — then the aircraft.
Arrive about twenty minutes before your slot. Registration is ID, the booking and a waiver, and rushing it means rushing the briefing, which is the part you want unhurried.
You will be weighed. Not as a formality: it decides the aircraft loading and which instructor you jump with, because a tandem canopy is certified for a combined weight.
The briefing is ten minutes. Body position, the exit, the landing. Nine of those ten minutes are one position, and it is the only thing you have to remember.
Then you wait, and then you go. Slots run in order and a delay ahead of you moves everything behind. Do not book anything for the two hours after your slot.
